Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic (LBUCC) is known for having high quality staff that is bilingual in English and Spanish. In addition, the staff responds to patients needs with understanding and compassion. Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic is a unique organization for a unique community.

At LBUCC, no one is turned away for the inability to pay. Patients benefiting from LBUCC’s services may pay on a sliding fee scale based on federal poverty level guidelines that are updated every year. The Clinic also accepts Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare and private insurance.

LBUCC is one of two federally funded community health centers in the Dallas County area designed to provide comprehensive primary care services that prevent illness and promote health. There are over 1,100 federally funded community and migrant health centers in the United States providing a health care home for over 18 million Americans. Community health centers have been in existence for more than forty years, reducing hospitalization by over 200% and reducing the pressure on hospital emergency rooms in countless ways.
